FAQS

Can my insurance company require me to have my vehicle repaired at a specific shop? Do I have to take my vehicle where my insurance tells me to?

Insurance companies may suggest a shop from their "preferred" list.  But you have the right to choose a shop of your choice.  You are not required to use their DRP ( direct repair facility) recommended by your insurance company.  You have the right to choose a shop of your choice. IT'S THE LAW!!

Which insurance companies do you work with?

We accept most insurace companies, just let your insurance company know you have selected McCarley's Hail & Collision, LLC as your shop of choice!

What if I am instructed by my insurance to get more than one estimate?

You are not required by law to get more than one estimate.  However you are obligated to allow your insurance company a reasonable amount of time to inspect prior to starting repairs.

I have another estimate from another shop. Why is your estimate amount different?

Repair estimates may vary.  A lower estimate may not have repairs or procedures required to properly repair your vehicle to it's safety specifications.  Also an estimate may not include hidden damage unknown until a proper disassembly and repair plan can be written.
